Design Coordination
Polaris Piping Design coordinated with the third-party Construction team to design a modular pipe rack setup that could be fabricated remotely, loaded with pipe, and set on a barge for delivery to the Gulf Coast site. Special efforts in stress analysis were required to provide loads to Civil/Structural and an optimal design—both constructible and economical.
Our engineering team worked efficiently and creatively to determine the required data to allow the dock engineering contractor to proceed with construction early. The project is still in construction, but much of the Polaris Engineering scope has successfully been delivered.
