Lake Charles’ Polaris Engineering patents clean fuels process

Polaris EPC Inc., a Lake Charles-based company focusing on clean refining and energy projects, announced Jan. 11 that it has received approval from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for its UltraFuels Technology Process.

The process is designed to produce low-carbon “Blue” transportation fuels by processing light crude oil and condensate while generating minimal facility emissions.

UltraFuels is custom designed for any production capacity. The design flexibility allows for the production of a wide variety of clean fuels.
